We’re looking for a passionate Director of Fitness (DOF) who wants to work for the innovative industry leader and be part of a team that is focused on making a real difference in people’s lives. The DOF is responsible for contributing to the overall production and financial success of the Personal Training Department.

The DOF will assist in cultivating and leading a positive, team-centered work environment that delivers on company goals. You will be a team player, have a “Whatever It Takes attitude”, provide a strong representation of the club at all times, will be enthusiastic, willing to learn our results based Pro Fitness Program (PFP), be reliable and willing to go above and beyond.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation & Perks:

Base Pay $45,000 - $50,000 annually with potential for much more based on commissions and bonuses
10% Commission on Personal Training packages sold

Responsibilities:

Meeting or exceeding monthly revenue and session goals
Lead all Personal Training Department meetings (team and one-on-one)
Training, managing, and developing a high-quality team of Personal Trainers and Fitness Consultants in a way that enables them to reach their full potential
Creating communication mechanisms for staff that enables two-way dialogue and provides them with timely and accurate information pertaining to company and club goals, programs, promotions, and policies
Assist in managing an efficient fitness department whereby day-to-day operations run smoothly, company-wide policies are followed consistently, and problems are resolved in an effective and timely manner
Manage the new member integration program ensuring that Fitness Consultations and PT demo sessions are provided in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Sales experience required
Goal oriented and self-motivated
Minimum of 2 years management experience
Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional settings
Proven ability to drive revenue
Enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hire, direct and train staff as well as excellent time management and follow-up skills
Financial management experience
Scheduling of training sessions and group fitness classes
Computer literacy
Experience in management, Personal Training sales, and fitness certification preferred
Knowledge of the Pro Fitness Program and ABC Ignite (formerly Datratrak) a plus
Korean or Spanish speaking a plus

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
